Aircraft Care
Each pilot is responsible for the aircraft when in his or her care. Pilots are expected to treat the aircraft with the utmost care at all times.
  • The pilot is responsible for removing all trash at the completion of their flight.
Reporting Problems
The Pilot is required to report all know trouble, malfunctions, or damage to aircraft before and after each flight.
  • All squawks must be recorded on a discrepancy sheet and must notify FlighTime Flying Club upon return.
Pilots will be charged for any damage or abuse not previously squawked.
Any aircraft damage found by a pilot during pre-flight inspection must be entered in the discrepancy sheet and initialed by FlighTime Flying Club personnel before operating the aircraft.
Failure to identify and report previously un-squawked damage may result in the pilot being charged for the damage.
Damage Responsibilities
Pilots will be responsible for any damage to the aircraft due to pilot’s violation to any Federal Aviation Regulation, or by pilot negligence and/or pilot’s error.
Maintenance Approval
If the FlighTime Flying Club aircraft requires maintenance during a rental flight, the pilot must obtain approval from FlighTime Flying Club prior to authorizing any maintenance work on the aircraft.
  • If such approval cannot be obtained, the pilot may use his or her best judgment in authorizing work, but will be held accountable for expenses for such
    work.
  • Only FAA certified mechanics and repair stations may do any maintenance work on the FlighTime Flying Club aircraft.
  • Pilot must obtain an invoice and/or statement describing all work performed on the aircraft, including the signature and license number of the mechanic or repair station.
  • Pilots are responsible for providing original receipts for gas, oil, or maintenance charges paid directly by the pilot. The pilot’s name and the aircraft tail number must be included on all receipts.
  • No credit shall be given for receipts submitted more than 30 days after rental period.
Pilot Responsibility
If the pilot is found responsible for mechanical failure while away from the home base, the pilot is responsible for any costs associated with ferrying the FlighTime Flying Club aircraft back to the home base.
Animals
Small animals are permitted in the FlighTime Flying Club aircraft, but must be carried in a cage. Pilots will be charged any expenses for cleaning or damage resulting from the transport of an animal.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited at any time in the FlighTime Flying Club aircraft or on the ramp area near the aircraft.
